Oct. 20th!
Free Class! Handgun and Seed Saving, the Basics.
Covering the "FOUR BASICS" of firearm safety:
1) Always assume a firearm is loaded
2) Never point a gun at something you don't want shot
3) Keep your finger off the trigger until you are ready to fire
4) Know your target!!! What is it? What is near it? Behind it? Bullets have a tendency to pass through objects and keep on going (... perfect segue into ammo choices for a future class)
And a little bit of seed saving. Be sure to get yourself some heirloom seeds to begin with, otherwise the next generation of plants might not be what you expect. Along similar lines, know your crops and how cross-pollination may affect similar crops.
Be sure to give seeds plenty of airflow while drying, rot is your seed's enemy.
Know your seed's stratification requirements (can they be planted without doing anything? Do they need to be stratified in the freezer? Do they need to be soaked)
